Test for Lidlag
A target, such as a lighted penlight or a flicking finger, is held before the midline of the patient above the eye leel; as the target is moved downward, the patient's upper lid is oserved for its ability to follow the iris in its downward movement. A lag is indicated by white sclera appearing between lid and limbus.
